Senior Quality Engineer, Core Product

We’re hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to join Core Products, which includes our website builder, landing pages, email delivery systems, mobile applications, and the full suite of digital product offerings—including courses, communities, coaching, and more. These customer-facing experiences impact the vast majority of Kajabi users.

As one of only two Quality Engineers supporting a group of ~30 engineers across four teams, you will play a critical role in helping us maintain confidence in the quality of what we ship while sustaining the high development velocity Kajabi is known for. You will report to the Director of Engineering for Core Products.

We’re looking for a seasoned engineer who’s passionate about quality, automation, and the application of AI tools in testing. You’ll be embedded in the product development lifecycle from the start—defining test strategies, scaling our automation framework, and championing quality best practices across teams.

The Impact You Will Make

Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers across four cross-functional teams
Design, own, and evolve test strategies for high-impact product areas
Build and maintain scalable automated test coverage across web, mobile, and API layers
Extend and support test frameworks and CI/CD integrations
Leverage AI tooling to accelerate test creation, reduce maintenance, and streamline triage
Conduct exploratory testing and assist engineers in investigating and resolving complex issues
Promote quality-first thinking across teams through coaching, documentation, and enablement
Act as a thought leader for testing standards, tooling, and quality strategy across the organization

Attributes for Success

6+ years in quality engineering, with a focus on automation and delivering product reliability at scale
Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium)
Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and build pipelines
Strong skills in backend and API testing; familiarity with tools like Postman or Swagger
Frontend debugging experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools is a strong plus
Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset; able to influence without formal authority
Comfortable in high-autonomy, fast-paced product environments

In-Office Requirement Statement

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times a quarter and therefore is best situated in the Western Time zones.

Pay Range

At Kajabi we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for equity. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

$110,000—$140,000 + equity + bonus
