Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and understanding of the DOM.
  • Experience with Shopify themes, Storefront API, and Liquid templating.
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with responsive design across devices.

  • Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom solutions.
  • Implement and debug third-party Shopify apps and integrations.
  • Ensure responsive layouts for various devices.
  • Communicate effectively and provide proactive feedback.

Job description

  • A bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise, as well as a general understanding of the admin system
  • Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM
  • Previous experience working with a custom theme andor the Storefront API
  • Working knowledge of Shopifys theming system and Liquid templating
  • Previous experience implementingdebugging thirdparty Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed
  • Indepth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Shopifys objectproperties, AJAX API, and Meta fields
  • Extensive testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools
  • Prior experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Working knowledge of thirdparty services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins
  • Capability to communicate effectively and provide proactive feedback
