Develop architecture and design specifications for core features and components of the Infoblox s Network Compliance and Change Management (NCCM) Platform called Network Insights (NI)
Troubleshoot complex customer scenarios and optimize core features and details, including device discovery, basic SNMP troubleshooting, resource scheduling, implementation, and performance tuning
Debug the root cause of assigned software defects and implement permanent, reliable, and timely fixes in production code
Improve the companys abilities to support the product by developing new support tools and enhancements to support processes and the product itself
Collaborate with other engineering teams to provide feedback on customer experience and suggest product improvements
Improve product quality with inputs to QA to create and enhance system and performance test plans based on the types of issues raised in the field
What youll bring:
4+ years of experience in a software development role with demonstrated experience in the design and development of Network Management Software (especially in the NCCM area)
Excellent programming skills in Object oriented design development skills in Python PERL
Experience in writing optimized SQL queries, especially for MySQL.
Cloud (AWS) experience an added advantage
Domain knowledge in enterprise networking (TCPIP, SNMP, routing, and switching) preferred
Systemadministrator level experience with Unix (Linux strongly preferred)
