Experience Design sits at the center of Jimdo’s usercentric mindset. As a Product Designer in the team, you’ll play a crucial role to help us deliver easytouse value to our customers. You’ll bring empathy to really understand our customers’ motivations and needs, and apply functional design principles to deliver best industry standard solutions. With the objective of unlocking success for Jimdo’s business, you will directly look after creating market demand, while bridging technical and business requirements. A successful candidate will possess a magical ability to inspire through design lens, while putting customers at the center of everything they do.
Run Continuous Product Discovery, from generative to evaluative studies to really understand our customers’ motivations and needs. You’ll apply cognitive science and datainformed design to influence decisionmaking.
Deliver visual yet functional design solutions, following best practices in interaction design and information hierarchy.
Design at different levels of fidelity to articulate and simplify abstract complex business concepts, and develop functional prototypes for rapidtesting and validation cycles.
Adopt our Design System in favor of coherence, consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility standards. Support the development of local and global libraries in our Design System across a multidevice product portfolio.
Work, align, and communicate across functions and departments to unlock a truly impressive experience for our customers, elevating both user interface and user experience to higher bars.
You have 5+ years of experience in similar senior product design roles.
You have experience in SaaS business mechanics, speak the language of such, and understand and adopt metrics that inform decision making.
You excel in both product discovery and product delivery tracks. You apply industry best practices for continuous product discovery, and are proficient in adopting and contributing to Design Systems—mastery with Figma.
You have experience designing for both desktop and mobile industry standards, and are knowledgeable about Conversational and Assistive AI design models.
You have the ability to simplify complex business concepts into functional prototypes for rapidtesting and validation.
You have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a crossfunctional team. You are creative, organized and selfmotivated. You enjoy sitting close to the business and making an impact.
