What You’ll Do

Blackpoint Cyber is a provider of leadingedge cybersecurity threat hunting, detection, and response technology. Blackpoint was founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts that applied their expertise to bring nationstate grade technologies to commercial customers around the world. We are looking for an experienced ML Engineer who will operate in a technical lead role for the machine learning function of our A.I. business unit. Candidates will directly support Blackpoint’s cyber security mission, helping to stop cyberattacks, and protecting Blackpoint’s rapidly growing customer base.

Summary:

As ML Engineer, you will be responsible for building out Blackpoint Cyber’s machine learning solutions to support development of our A.I. products and features. You will report directly to the Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Who You Are:

Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of experience in handson ML Engineering, with a track record of delivering A.I. products and services into production.

• Experience building in the wellarchitected mindset—for efficiency, performance, security, and reliability.

• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Query Language (SQL, Ksql)

• GitFlow & DevOps Best Practices

Nice to Have:

• Transformer Neural Nets

• Agile Scrum

• Programming (Scala, Java)

• Experience in Cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP fields

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Develop, optimize, and deploy ML models.

• Design, build, and administrate model building and serving infrastructure.

• Implement ML workflows as containerized Infrastructure as Code.

• Build & automate standardized container pipelines for training, feature engineering, and inference channels.

• Conduct performance, load, and deployment testing of delivered ML solutions.

• Develop ML governance utilities for oversight and administration of deployed infrastructure.

• Implement data, feature, and model lifecycle best practices.

• Contribute to A.I. architecture and design decisions.

• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including Engineering, Blackpoint Cyber’s Security OperaJons Center (SOC), and our Adversary Pursuit Group (APG)
