Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at AirOps, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our software products, focusing on crafting toptier user interfaces that enhance usability and overall functionality. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in software development, data, and Generative AI techniques to devise innovative AI solutions that automate processes and improve the user experience.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who demonstrates adaptability and versatility, with a strong ability to communicate across teams. Given the rapid evolution of the software industry, the ability to swiftly master and deploy new technologies and methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new userfacing features in our platform

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate and consume APIs smoothly

• Take responsibility for the frontend codebase integrity, applying best practices for scalability and performance

• Participate actively in code reviews and maintain rigorous standards for quality and reliability

• Organize and plan tasks, working closely with the rest of the team to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met

• Engage with the latest advancements in frontend technologies and AI to find innovative solutions that can be integrated into our platform

• Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies

  • Extensive experience with React, familiar with modern JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

  • Experience with TypeScript and its integration in frontend projects

  • Background in integrating with backend frameworks like Ruby on Rails

  • Interest in or experience with Generative AI and Natural Language Processing technologies

  • Proven leadership abilities in managing frontend development projects in a remotefirst environment.

  • Experience with Figma or similar tools for creating dynamic, responsive designs

  • 1+ year working with Ruby on Rails (optional)

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
