Evolution IQ is developing a nextgen platform for the insurance industry. We develop machines with deep comprehension and vast data access to guide humans to the optimal decisions over large numbers of claims. Our training data includes all parts of historical insurance claims, as well as data we source externally. Our findings are presented in intuitive products to streamline the claim investigation process. The result is potential savings in the hundreds of millions, increased fairness and added precision to insurance pricing.

Our Team

We are founded by a senior Google AI expert and a Bridgewater Associates Algorithmic Investor & Stanford MBA. We’re not looking for employees. We’re looking for partners in work, partners in culturebuilding, and partners in the future of datadriven insurance. The development team consists of world class engineers and leaders from companies like Google and Bloomberg. Each individual has had great success building large scale enterprise software and is now excited to try their hand at transforming the insurance industry.

Investors

Our investors include First Round Capital (seed investors in Uber, Square, Looker), FirstMark (Airbnb, Pinterest, Shopify) and Foundation Capital (Lending Club, CoverWallet, Netflix) and we have deep support within each of their organizations. You will also have full access to their networks and counterparts at portfolio companies for advice, ideas and community.

Job Description

Who are you? A Senior Sales Executive responsible for managing the entire sales life cycle from start to finish, including prospecting, identifying needs, presenting, defining solutions, establishing plans, structuring deals, and managing and growing our relationships with both prospects and customers. You must be salesdriven, fastmoving, and have a strong customer focus. You are passionate about creating value for your customers, which ultimately leads to profitable business for both us and them. You know how to identify the right decision makers and influencers, how to listen, and how to ask the right questions. You have excellent communication skillsyou know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.

Qualifications

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively prospect, identify and drive a large number of sales opportunities through a typically complex enterprise sales cycle, from first contact to closure

• Drive business growth by cultivating a network of executive level contacts and utilizing precall planning, postcall analysis and consistent followup

• Lead the Evolution IQ relationship with prospects and internal stakeholders within enterprise accounts

• Schedule, customize, and deliver sales presentations and manage meetings with our prospects executives

• Represent Evolution IQ at conferences, educational forums, and other industry events

• Utilize our CRM product to manage life cycle activity of each prospect and client

• Collaborate with product management to refine product direction

• Communicate progress and strategic priorities to the leadership team

• Travel likely 1020% of the time

Skills, Experience, and Other JobRelated Requirements

• 5+ years of experience selling complex SaaS to enterprise accounts in a closing role, using a consultative approach to determine customer needs

• Proven hunter who has consistently met or beaten quota

• Familiarity and comfort selling across stakeholders at multiple levels in an organization, communicating well with everyone from the business champion to the product user to the Clevel executive

• Can confidently and persuasively tell a compelling story and own the room

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and run longterm account plans

• Comfortable in a startup environment that moves at a fast pace, with a direct, open, and honest culture; you care about getting the best answer, not about being right or wrong. Youre motivated by results, not by your ego

• Naturally inquisitive and driven to dig deeper. You do the research and know how to uncover opportunities others miss

• Team player and can work with our teams to find efficient paths to successful and profitable customers

• Have the drive and personal accountability to own your results

• Are motivated by overcoming challenges and pushing yourself harder when faced with adversity

• BABS degree or equivalent

Depending on the candidate, this position may be remote or based in our New York City office.
