Job Description

One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Innovation in Banking Technology: Contribute to the digitization and modernization of a banking application, bringing creativity and innovative ideas to enhance the overall process
• Tailor client solutions: Contribute to the digitization and modernization of a banking application, bringing creativity and innovative ideas to enhance the overall process
• Master CuttingEdge Technologies: Leverage your expertise in Java, Spring, and Microservices to develop and maintain scalable, highperformance applications, ensuring you stay at the forefront of innovation in the fintech industry.
• Deliver highquality code: ensuring the fulfilment of the requirements, taking into consideration also its performance within the agreed time estimate
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in existing programs and subsequent refactoring
• Agile Team Collaboration: Engage in direct communication with Germanspeaking clients and teams, ensuring smooth project delivery and efficient coordination in a multilingual environment.
• Nurture knowledge: Expand your skills by learning Angular while working on the integration of Angular Web Components for a headless Content Management System (CMS).

• Qualifications

  Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Java;
  • Good knowledge of Java 17, Java ecosystem frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, associated patterns (e.g. SOLID principles, Design Patterns), API driven development
  • Working experience with relational data base and ORM (JPA Hibernate);
  • Experience with CICD and deployment platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift);
  • Strong problemsolving skills and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication skills with a good command of English and German

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience in Web application frameworks like Angular, RxJS using JavaScriptTypescript and some of its most common librariesframeworks and Web standards, CSS and HTML best practices
