Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented Social Media Video Editor.

As a Social Media Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling, shortform (and sometimes longform) video content that drives engagement and conversions. We will provide all necessary materials, but you’ll bring your creative eye, strong English communication skills, and editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.

Key Responsibilities

Edit shortform social media videos.

Edit longform social media videos.

Collaborate with the video team.

Maintain highquality English subtitles and captions.

Ensure proper spelling, grammar, and clarity in Englishlanguage captions and onscreen graphics.

Keep file management organized for quick access and streamlined workflows.

Incorporate Broll footage, add creative transitions, and use text overlays effectively to enhance storytelling.

Work on podcaststyle shoots, delivering a polished final product that keeps viewers engaged.

Turn recorded footage—including Q&A segments—into succinct, engaging clips for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in video editing, especially for social media.
Strong English communication skills—both written and spoken—for captioning and team collaboration.
Ability to work fulltime remotely from Turkey, with a schedule that aligns with our team’s needs.
Interest in exploring business and entrepreneurship topics; motion graphics experience is a plus.
Digital drawing skills are a plus.
A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your editing skills and creativity.
A solid understanding of storytelling, branding, and production techniques that engage audiences.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut (experience with additional editing tools is a plus).
