Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) is preferred.
  • 2-6 years of experience in project procurement for Greenfield/Brownfield projects in Oil and Gas or Chemical industries.
  • Experience with Capex procurement processes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for purchase order processing and vendor management.

Requirements:

  • Support planning and management of procurement activities for new projects.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and contractors.
  • Coordinate with consultants and project teams for timely procurement and inspections.
  • Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.

Job description

We are looking for a Sr Executive SCM for New Projects in Mumbai. Client is a global oil & Gas company.

Job Profile:
Support for planning and management of the procurement activities for Greenfield Projects
Identify potential Vendors and Contractors based on project requirements and evaluate them as per procurement policy.
Coordinating with consultant for readiness of all MR’sRFQ’sTenders and Float Enquiries within agreed timelines.
Coordinate with EPCM consultant for Technical Bid Evaluation Commercial Bid Evaluation.
Support in negotiation meetings with vendors & contractors within the Budget allocated.
Process purchase orders in SAP for projects.
Review and process vendor invoices and track for timely payments to vendors
Attend meetings with the engineering team, vendors and contractors as required.
Coordination with the Inspection Team for timely inspection of the Equipment and Packages
Coordination with project management teams during project execution to maintain ontime material delivery & supply at Site.
Prepare MIS on regularly basis as per requirement.

Requirements:
26 Years of experience in project procurement of GreenfieldBrownfield projects in Oil and Gas, Chemical, etc.
BEBTech preferred
Must have capex experience.
Working knowledge of SAP
