Your role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product Team at Qualified, you will tackle technically challenging and ambiguous problems by building exceptional products and enhancing our processes and technology. You will work on integrating LLMs, embeddings, and other AI technologies into our product offerings, pushing the boundaries of whats possible to deliver innovative features and exceptional user experiences. Our product team emphasizes rapid experimentation and iteration, and you will own the endtoend delivery and success of features—from coding and testing to deployment, monitoring, and customer rollout—while maintaining high standards of engineering and code quality. Additionally, you will work closely with customers, gathering immediate feedback to continuously improve our products and ensure they meet user needs effectively.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop customerfocused applications by building new features, improving existing ones, and creating entirely new products.

• Utilize the latest advances in machine learning, LLMs and other AI technologies to enhance our products and deliver delightful user experiences.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Engineers to ideate and develop missioncritical applications.

• Conduct rapid prototyping and iterative development to enhance AI solutions based on realworld performance and user feedback.

• Ensure our core functionality is stable, scalable, wellmaintained, and continuously improving.

• Continuously grow your technical skills to tackle our toughest challenges related to quality, performance, robustness, and reliability.

• Contribute to our team’s culture and future by mentoring other engineers and setting standards of engineering excellence.

• Support and scale highlyavailable, highlytrafficked services essential for our customers timesensitive, businesscritical needs.

• Qualifications Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in professional fullstack software development, with a recent focus on leveraging AIML technologies.

  • Expertise in working with all components of a modern web application.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, or Go.

  • Proficiency in objectoriented programming, systems design, and working with largescale, lowlatency systems.

  • Experience using frontierscale LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) programmatically for developing applications in production environments is a plus.

  • Experience working with SQL and RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) and data warehousing solutions.

  • Strong software engineering practices, including coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.

  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
