Software Engineer Fullstack

• Build backend services with TypeScript and Postgres

• Build TypeScriptReact user interfaces for web and mobile

• Deeply understand our product and users. Translate realworld operational challenges into intuitive, highimpact features

• Deploy technology at interesting industrial sites like underground mines

• Work with our CEO, former CTO and cofounder of Blend ($1B public company), learning to build a worldclass engineering organization

• As an engineer at an earlystage startup, your responsibilities will vary from week to week as priorities evolve. In general, your technical work will consist of:

  • Backend (TypeScript) 40%

  • Web frontend (React) 40%

  • Mobile frontend (React Native) 10%

  • Infrastructure and tools (Kubernetes) 10%

  • What We’re Looking For

    MustHave Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in a professional software engineering role

    • Strong coding skills, problemsolving ability, and grasp of computer science fundamentals

    • Entrepreneurial work ethic, drive for excellence, and belief in meritocracy, personal responsibility, and hard work

    • Experience and comfort working on a remote team

    • Rapid delivery of highquality work

    • Enthusiasm for building at all levels of the stack, from lowlevel infrastructure details to highlevel product work

    • Great judgment and intuition about security, testing, code quality, and tech debt

    • Appreciation of functional programming, type safety, clean code, and automated testing

    • Mastery of core developmentinfrastructureDevOps tools (Git, Linux)

    • US citizen or permanent resident, or Canadian citizen

    • Based in North America
