  The Role

  As a Software Engineer at OnePay, your work will build the products & systems that serve our customers and run our company. You will play a crucial role in translating product visions into functional, highquality applications and features. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions that enhance our customers financial lives. You will:

  • Develop and implement new features, APIs, and products.

  • Work closely with other engineers to ship code. We enjoy collaboration and partnering on hard problems.

  • Architect and designing highly scalable and reliable products.

  • Building and maintaining documentation. As a growing and remote organization, having the necessary documentation is key to our success.

  • Solve complex problems that arise at scale. We deal with realworld money movement and sensitive financial data at scale and are creating novel financial mechanics with no real precedent.

  • You Bring

    • 5+ years of professional experience in productfacing backend development.

    • Strong track record of delivering highimpact features and products.

    • Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs.

    • Drive and proactivity everyone here is a builder and executor

    • Tools we use

      We use the fpts library for functional programming with NodeTypeScript running on top of Kubernetes and AWS. We believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, but you’ll ramp up more quickly if you are familiar with functional programming concepts.
