Job Description

DevOps Engineer| Long Term Contract | #REMOTE

SKILLSETS NEEDED:

• Significant development experience (6+ years) with containerization and Docker
• Container Orchestration skills (Example: Kubernetes, AWS ECS or AWS EKS 6+ years)
• Deep experience with Java programming (10+ years) and REST service development.
• Significant experience (6+ years) with microservice frameworks like Spring Boot
• Significant experience (6+ years) with DevOps tools (GitBitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins)
• Experience (6+ years) with code quality tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx)
• Experience (6+ years) with CICD and bluegreen deployments

• TASKS WILL INCLUDE

  • Integrate AWS codepipeline with ServiceNow APIs (Indepth knowledge of ServiceNow APIs is a must, JIRAJIRA Align API skills can transfer, if candidate can learn fast)
  • Integrate AWS codepipeline with BitBucket APIs (Indepth knowledge of BitBucket APIs is a must, GitlabGithubGit API skills can transfer, if candidate can learn fast)
  • Build codepipeline, codedeploy and codebuild based CICD pipelines using AWS cloudformation (skills like Jenkins GroovyPipeline as Code, can transfer if candidate can learn fast)
  • Develop infrastructure as Code using Cloud formation YAMLJSON (not python Boto3, candidate can transfer skills from Python, if candidate can learn fast)
