As a Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering highimpact, scalable solutions for the companys backend infrastructure. You will tackle complex engineering challenges and take ownership of key technical projects that drive innovation and excellence across our systems. In a fastpaced, evolving environment, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction and ensuring the robustness and reliability of our services.
Requirements
It is desirable for Staff Backend Engineers to have handson experience or practical familiarity with one or more core financial domains such as lending, payments, credit cards, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services. A strong understanding of key operational workflows, integration patterns, and data flows within these domains is highly valued, especially in contexts where backend decisions impact performance, compliance, or financial accuracy at scale.
Ideal candidates will have led or significantly contributed to the architecture and development of backend systems powering critical financial use cases, such as realtime transaction processing, loan management engines, payment orchestration layers, settlement and reconciliation services, or KYCAMLcompliant onboarding pipelines. Experience designing secure, auditable, and scalable APIs for internal and external consumers is also highly desirable. The ability to translate complex regulatory requirements (e.g., PCIDSS, GDPR, LGPD) into resilient, compliant, and highperforming backend architectures sets exceptional candidates apart at this level.
