Role and Responsibilities:
The Sr Key Account Executive will serve as the client spoc for taking briefs, setting and working within timelines, and ensuring seamless execution.
As an important part of the execution layer of the organization structure, the Key Account Executive will be responsible for process excellence, eye for detail, and seamless delivery meeting deadlines.
Owning systems and processes for respective clients, including guiding and training new joinees and interns on agency systems and processes.
Reporting to Account Managers and above.
Strong skills in media engagement tools and responsible for writing various types of content such as press releases, news stories, articles, blogs, etc.
Maintaining knowledge of all media outlets, key markets, and key media personnelpublications across Tier I and Tier II cities.
Pitching press releases and feature ideas to national and regional journalists through phone or email.
Ensuring seamless communication and responsiveness with media and clients.
Arranging interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients spokespeople.
Monitoring media coverage and reporting results to the team and clients.
Attending client events and industry conferences.
Handling clients social media accounts.
Brainstorming fresh ideas for PR campaigns.
Understanding clientrelated financial activities.
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree preferably in communication, journalism, economics, humanities, or management.
2 to 4 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or any field where communication is key.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to spelling, grammar, proofreading, and creative copywriting.
Organized with an eye for detail, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate assertively.
Ability to multitask, work well under tight timelines, and deliver seamlessly.
