  Job Description:

  We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Swedish Speaking Gambling News Writer.
  
  In this role, you will be responsible for covering the topical newsfeed for their publications in collaboration with editorial and SEO support to reach audiences interested in timely, trending events. This is a fastpaced, collaborative role where prioritization and organizational skills will be helpful. Writers will source, develop and maintain contacts as part of a strong journalistic research practice. Staff writers will be responsible for executing SEO strategies as communicated to the newsroom in their work

  
  Responsibilities:

  • Writing timely, accurate news stories using journalistic storytelling principles
  • Conduct outreach and research via traditional communication and social channels
  • Collaborating with editorial team to curate a feed of informed, relevant topics that reach for audience interests
  • Maintain an understanding of key trends and entities in the industry to backstop the development of featured content
  • Develop & maintain an online footprint commensurate with a serious journalist
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contacts via social and traditional channels

  • Qualifications:

    • 2 or more years of journalistic experience with at least 1 year reporting on the gambling industry
    • Knowledge of the gambling industry and key entities in primary locations (Sweden).
    • Bachelors in Journalism, Communications, Or similar degree or experience
    • A track record of creating timely, accurate, and insightful news
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
    • English and Swedish as primary languages
    • Organised, selfmotivated, and resultsoriented with a strong work ethic
    • Meticulous attention to detail through proofreading and editing skills
