Job description

Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage, implement and support the Azure Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves implementing efficient engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across teams. Excellent working knowledge and experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including Infrastructure as a Code and DevOps.

Requirements:

Indepth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Networking, Storage, Firewall, Compute, Function, Backup and Azure DevOps
Automating routine tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform and Azure CLI for enhanced efficiency
Minimum 4 years of specialized experience DEVOPS engineer role with full automation using Ansible .
Minimum 2 years of Azure Infrastructure automation with Terraform.
Must have experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, respectively.
Experience configuring and managing CICD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc. for enterpriselevel deployments.
Strong familiarity and comfort working with versioncontrol systems, such as Gitlab
Configurationlevel knowledge for Linux sysadmin with RHEL.
Ability to implement security measures for Azurebased applications and infrastructure
Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in automation tools to continuously improve processes
Threat protection, maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure infrastructure, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least three of experience in an automationengineering role
Advanced troubleshooting and problemsolving skills, related to cloud and network infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications:

Workinglevel experience in Azure Cloud (AzureAzure GOV Cloud)
Advanced experience in large scale cloud architecture, design, and integration with a focus on automation, networking and NextGen Firewall
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python
Linux OS
Proficiency in multicloud environments, especially in AWS, is highly desirable.
A master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
