About the Client

Our client operates within Melbournes tourism industry, specifically focusing on the entertainment sector.

They develop and promote live events, cultural experiences, and entertainment offerings that attract both

local and international visitors. As they expand, they are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer

to support their visual content needs remotely.

Role Overview

This fully remote role centers on creating engaging visual content for digital and print platforms that

promote entertainment events and experiences within the tourism space. You will collaborate closely with

the marketing and events team to produce high-quality designs that align with the brand and attract visitors to

Melbournes entertainment offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design (Core Focus)

- Design digital assets such as event flyers, social media graphics, web banners, and email visuals promoting entertainment events.

- Create print materials like brochures, signage, merchandise designs, and promotional collateral for entertainment experiences.

- Ensure brand consistency across all visual touchpoints related to tourism and entertainment.

- Design and update pitch decks, client presentations, and sponsor documents focused on entertainment tourism.

Project Coordination Support

- Assist with scheduling and posting social media content related to entertainment events.

- Maintain an organized digital asset library (logos, photos, templates).

- Coordinate timelines for event campaigns and marketing rollouts within the tourism entertainment sector.

- Support basic reporting on design engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

- 2+ years experience in graphic design, ideally within tourism, entertainment, events, or lifestyle sectors.

- Proficient in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

- Strong eye for layout, color, typography, and storytelling through visuals.

- Familiarity with digital formats and social media content design.

- Excellent time-management, attention to detail, and communication skills.

⭐ Desirable (Bonus Skills)

- Experience designing specifically for entertainment or cultural tourism brands.

- Basic video editing or motion graphics skills (e.g., Reels, TikTok, short-form promos).

- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor).
