Job description

This is a remote position.

Location: LondonOxfordCambridge in the UK, MunichFrankfurt in Germany or BaselGeneva in Switzerland are preferred. Other EU cities will also be acceptable.

The primary focus of this position is to shape the company strategy to penetrate the European markets, and to build up the EU Sales team align with the business strategy, drive EU Sales team to achieve high business target. Oversee EU whole team sales and operational work. Build up and maintain relationships with current and potential KA clients distributors to maximize our business in biopharma industry.

Main Responsibilities:

1. EU Sales & Operational work

Oversee EU whole team sales and operational work to ensure the smooth operation of EU, and continue to develop and improve the team, strengthen the effectiveness of cooperation with teams from other countries.

Work cross functionally within HQ team and other international team to drive growth and improve internal flow; provide the thought leadership to ensure go to market alignment by developing sustainable and strategic relationship with leading industry partners and trade organizations.


2. Sales strategy

a) Recommend, develop, and implement regional level sales strategies and communicate to staff; set sales target and allocate to sales; formulate and implement pricing programs; execute plan to achieve sales productivity standards.

b) Build and maintain strong relationships with local KA clients and distributors. Provide timely training and appropriate solutions with the help of internal or external resources to improve our customer base and brand exposure.

c) Leads team transition to solution sales, be qualified to make account planning, seller portfolio analysis, milestone check

d) Drive EU sales team to achieve sales income that meets agreed targets in regional markets.


3. Team management

a) Select, train, develop, motivate, and monitor performance of direct reports to achieve functional and departmental business goals.

b) Motivate and upgrade sales team’s capability through implementing sales incentive plan, utilization of sales tools, sales pipeline.


c) Manage operational team and develop their capability to empower the performance achievement.


4. Collaboration Cross depts.border

Work with marketing team on related marketing activities, including proposal and implement of necessary events (webinar, seminar, exhibition et, al), screening media and promotion platform, coordinating internal resources to give speech in the defined events as needed, and track the design of the promotion materials.


5. Other duties as assigned by CEO



Requirements

1. Knowledge: Master or above, prefer major in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or related.

2. Experience: 10+ years of related experience in the field of Sales or Marketing in the healthcare industry. M&A integration experience will be a plus.
