Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Optimization: Ensure maximum service availability and performance through proactive monitoring and swift resolution.
  2. JuniperCentric Network Services: Configure and maintain customer network services on Juniper core equipment.
  3. Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to Engineering and other technical teams.
  4. Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex IP network and VoIP issues, leveraging Juniper solutions for efficient fault resolution.

                    • Juniper Networks Certifications:
                      • Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
                      • Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) in Routing & Switching, Security, or Service Provider
                      • Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP) or Expert (JNCIE) – a significant advantage.
                        • Additional Networking Certifications:
                          • Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) to complement multivendor experience.
                              • Networking Skills:

                                • Expertise in Juniper equipment (MX, EX, SRX series) for routing, switching, and security.
                                • Indepth understanding of IP networking layers (1–3) and protocols like BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and EVPN.
                                • Experience with WAN technologies, including SDWAN.
                                • Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, NetConf).
                                • Advanced troubleshooting skills for L2L3 networking, including VLANs, VRFs, and multicast.
                                • Experience with Junos OS and its CLI.
                                  • Security Expertise:

                                    • Handson experience with Juniper firewalls (SRX series) and security policies.
                                    • Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN).
                                    • Ability to implement and troubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, and intrusion prevention systems.
