We are looking for:
ASG is seeking a skilled Senior Broadcast Engineer to drive audiovisual and broadcast integration projects, including video production studios, corporate event centers, and commercial sound systems. 
This position is remote within California. Ideal candidates will be local to either Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
Responsibilities:
  • AutoCAD Expertise:
    • Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD is mandatory.
    • Ability to independently create and refine detailed system design drawings, including elevations, wiring schematics, connector details, and complete build packages.
    • Strong capability to translate technical and functional requirements into comprehensive AutoCAD documentation.
    • Proficiency in creating build packages and technical documentation.
  • Broadcast Technology Standards Knowledge:
    • Advanced knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110, SDI, AES67, Dante, data networking, router control protocols, and cloud technology.
  • Manufacturer Product Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with leading broadcast manufacturers’ products and solutions.
  • IT Network Design & Troubleshooting:
    • Expertise in designing and diagnosing broadcast-related IT networks.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Skilled in MS Office, Google Suite, and database applications.
  • Process Adherence:
    • Commitment to following engineering processes and documentation standards.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Strong analytical and technical documentation capabilities.
  • Project Management:
    • Ability to plan tasks, guide engineering resources, and meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Research Abilities:
    • Strong research skills to source and resolve technical questions.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years in systems integration projects in Media & Entertainment (M&E) and Audiovisual industry.
    • Hands-on experience in design engineering, systems testing, and commissioning.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical training required.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • SMPTE ST 2110, IT Networking, Cloud-related certifications.
  • Broadcast Engineering Background:
    • Experience in live broadcast or post-production facility design and operation.
Location & Travel:

Must be based in California, with the ability to travel as needed (approximately 30%).

Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time role offers an annual salary of $130,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
