About the Company (EYT Client):

We have invented a new credit card powered by an advanced assetse​curing platform that enables us to offer much lower APRs to consumers. Our team is a combination of deep technology (Microsoft, Google, Facebook), and finance (Goldman Sachs, Square, Carta, SoFi, Amex, Chase) executives. Our Seed round was led by Max Levchin, and our Series A by Founders Fund with participation in both rounds by Sequoia, NYCA, and others.

Our work involves building the world’s first completely autonomous assetsecuring process, worldclass risk models for underwriting, and an incredibly smooth & efficient product experience for consumers to apply, activate, and manage their credit cards.

We’re looking for a detailoriented and driven accounting analyst who wants to work with complex data to reconcile daily credit card and deposit activity and support the Controller with other accountingfinancerelated tasks.

Responsibilities

● Reconciling credit card and deposit transactions daily; including purchases, accrued interest, fees, payments, and money movements.

● Providing the Controller with financial audit support

● Assisting the Controller with month end close, including, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, vendor payments, and tax filings.

● Documenting and creating standard operating procedures



Requirements

At least 4 years (and above) of Finance experience (banking, lending, hedging, etc.)

  • Prior experience with reconciling credit card and deposit transactions
    • ● Prior experience with monthend close processes

      ● Proficient with Excel, Google Sheet

      ● Superb communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills

      ● Proficiency, speed, and accuracy in written communication

      ● Fluency, clarity, and good diction in English

      ● Great organizational skills & time management abilities

      ● Experience using communication tools such as (ZenDesk), task management tools, Google Drive, and Email

      ● Detail oriented we’re a financial services company so being correct about the details matter

      ● Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is a plus.

      ● Flexibility to work US Pacific time 6 AM to 2:30 PM (with a half hour break time in between)

      • Must be based in the Philippines
