Now were looking for an Account Executive to join our highperforming sales team. In this role, youll leverage Portfolio Intelligence to manage a blended portfolio of ~200 accounts, retaining and expanding existing customers while hunting for new growth opportunities across regional territories.

Youll play a critical role in shaping how customers across Civil Engineering, Utilities, Telecommunications, and Asset Management, Government use Nearmap to solve complex problems and unlock real business value through visiondriven, valuebased business outcomes.

What youll be doing:

  • Own a book of customers and prospects, developing and executing territory and account plans to drive acquisition, growth, and retention using Portfolio Intelligence insights
  • Focus on landing new logos through smart, selfdirected prospecting and pipeline generation, creating your own pipeline using industryleading tools
  • Lead complex solution deals in SaaS selling environments, using valuebased selling methodologies and MEDPICC qualification framework
  • Navigate executive and business decisionmaker conversations, demonstrating experience in execbusiness decision engagement
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to increase product adoption, drive expansion, and deliver a bestinclass customer experience
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, BDRs and more to unlock strategic opportunities
  • Confidently navigate complex procurement processes and Clevel conversations to close deals and deliver results

      • Have deep SaaSonly selling experience with complex solution deals
      • Are expert in valuebased selling and can articulate visiondriven business outcomes across industries
      • Have experience in the Built Environment or Government sector and understand industry dynamics
      • Are proficient with MEDPICC methodology and can create pipeline using industry tools
      • Demonstrate strong Executive and business decision experience and can engage senior stakeholders
      • Enjoy working across a highperformance team and can rally others to a shared goal
      • Take initiative, own your outcomes, and know how to prioritise what moves the needle
      • Are handson with the sales tech stack Salesforce, Salesloft, Quip, Highspot, and value the process as much as the result
      • Are willing to travel to meet customers and represent Nearmap at events, conferences and industry forums
        • Qualifications

          What will set you apart:

          • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in Business Development or Account Executive roles, with a strong record of exceeding quota and driving new revenue.

          • Familiarity with modern sales frameworks like MEDDIC, SPIN, Sandler or Challenger, you know how to run strategic discovery and turn insight into action.

          • A history of managing ~200 accounts across existing clients and new prospects with a structured, datadriven approach.

          • Deep vertical expertise in one of Nearmap’s priority sectors (Public SectorGovernment, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Telecommunications, Asset Management), and handson exposure to tools like AutoDesk, Bentley, or ESRI is a big plus.

          • Strong commercial acumen, you’re fluent in ROI, comfortable with Excelbased business cases, and can tailor value propositions to diverse stakeholders.

          • A strong understanding of subscriptionbased business models and how to drive product adoption and retention over time.

          • Comfortable working crossfunctionally, you bring people together to close complex deals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

          • You know your way around Salesforce (SFDC) and believe in the power of accurate forecasting and clean pipeline hygiene.
