About the Position

AI Engineers are responsible for developing and integrating AI solutions into Hiya’s products, focusing on rapid iteration, prompt engineering, and practical application. Youll finetune and optimize foundation models, craft sophisticated multiagent systems, and invent novel solutions to power the next generation of voice intelligence.

What You’ll Do

• Integrate AI solutions into existing products and workflows

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Conduct model evaluations, prompt engineering, and finetuning of large language models (LLMs)

• Implement and manage AI orchestration, including agentbased systems

• Participate in the design and implementation of AIpowered applications and interfaces

• Help shape the technical direction and best practices for LLM application development

• Stay at the forefront of AI research and incorporate stateoftheart techniques

• What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

  • Experience working with foundational model APIs and pretrained open source models

  • Strong understanding of machine learning workflows, including model evaluations and LLM finetuning

  • Familiarity with AI orchestration and agentbased systems and best practices (LangChain, AutoGen, n8n)

  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders

    You will have a fast start if you have experience:

    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

    • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies

    • Experience with data science and ML engineering

    • Familiarity with retrievalaugmented generation (RAG)
