Key responsibilities:

  • Support system upgrades, change management, and oversee development, testing, and deployment processes.

Job Description

This role is a customerfocused consultant and handson and proactive problem solver in Oracle HCM for our client, an automotive OEM. The role needs to clarify technical and functional questions, ideas and issues fast and detailled, guiding key users, informing stakeholders, fostering decisions in service for a suite of applications and modules for Oracle HCM.

  • Act between service, business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Recommend solutions while mitigating operational and delivery risks
  • Champion stakeholder collaboration to clarify requirements and impact assessments
  • Proactively document change logs, provide status updates, and escalate issues as needed
  • Follow update and upgrade cycles and suggest release of new feautures and patches
  • Ensure alignment of system changes with business goals and regulatory mandates
  • Document functional specifications including data mapping, migration strategies, reporting needs, and user guidance
  • Trigger system enhancement planning and design
  • Support requirement analysis and system change management across project phases
  • Oversee development, testing, migration, user training, and release management
  • Apply Service and project management standards and agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban throughout project lifecycle
    • Qualifications
      • Over 5 years of experience in the IT and HR business environment
      • Strong background in Oracle HCM products (Oracle HCM Core, ORC, EPM, OCI, Oracle Analytics, Talent Management, Helpdesk, Learning)
      • Familiar with Oracle Product Strategy
      • Knowledge and awareness to compliance with laws and regulations
      • Strong German language skills
      • Deep understanding of HR processes and topics of international bigscale companies
      • Functional understanding of main applications and modules for Oracle HCM
      • Ability to understand architecture and technical issues and solutions and communicate on those topics to stakeholders and technical team
      • High communication skills, able to build trust, clarify, guide and solve issues if required
