Junior GL Accountant

The work can be managed fully remotely – with timetotime office presence – from any location in Hungary.

Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the GL teamprocess in the daily operation to achieve the highlighted key priorities and qualitative and quantitative target sets.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Managing accounting transactions for foreign subsidiaries of KOSTAL group with key scope of Europe
• Create adhoc reports for various business needs
• Keeps files up to date and guarantees proper filing of relevant supporting documents for future reference, including audits
• Preparation of balance sheet, intercompany and bank reconciliations
• Participates in monthly closing activities
• Other adhoc projects and duties as needed.

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Min 1–2 years of experience as an accountant
  • Experience with international organizations
  • SAP FI knowledge will be beneficial
  • Native in Hungarian
  • Fluent in English
