Avery Dennison Seeks Expert to Lead Bluetooth Low Energy Engagements
Avery Dennison, a global leader in materials science and manufacturing, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the newly created role of BLE Solution Consultant. This position will be pivotal in spearheading the companys engagements in the rapidly growing field of Ambient IoT, (AIoT) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The ideal candidate will possess a profound technical understanding of BLE, including both active and passive technologies, and a proven track record of successfully activating and scaling BLE projects. This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise and strong commercial acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from Csuite executives to technical project engineers.
Key Areas of Responsibility
As the BLE Solution Consultant, the appointed individual will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including:
Leading BLE Engagements: Serving as the primary technical lead and commercial partner for all BLErelated customer engagements.
Solution Development: Leveraging a deep understanding of BLE use cases to design and propose innovative solutions that address customer challenges.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of the complete BLE solution stack, encompassing hardware, software, and tags. Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Wiliot is highly desirable.
Project Activation and Scaling: Taking a handson approach to leading proofofconcept (POC) projects and developing strategies for scaling successful pilots into fullscale deployments.
Commercial Acumen: Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from presenting business cases to executive leadership to collaborating with customer engineering teams on technical details.
Financial Acumen: Ability to help client design their business case and ROI modeling
Strategic Partnerships: Developing and nurturing longterm relationships with key customers and technology partners within the BLE ecosystem.
Key Qualifications
BSBE degree required.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a solution consulting or similar role with a focus on BLE technology.
Deep technical understanding of the BLE ecosystem, including hardware, software , and tag selection. Defining the architecture requirements..
Proven track record of activating and scaling BLE projects and a deep understanding of BLE use cases.
Familiarity with both active and passive BLE technologies; experience with Wiliot is highly desirable.
Strong commercial acumen with experience engaging at all levels of an organization, from the Csuite to technical engineers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
The ability to work effectively in and lead crossfunctional teams.
Strong research, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
A consulting background is a strong plus.
Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence across all areas of the business.
Ability to travel up to 60%.
The salary range for this position is $124,500 $166,000 year.
