Description
Analytics Engineer
Remote; may live anywhere in U.S.
Job Duties: Create and maintain interactive story-driven reports, and dashboards using Qlik Sense to measure and track performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Formulate SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases and data warehouse to provide actionable insights. Develop and implement data models, predictive models and attribution models, with tools such as Snowflake and Databricks, to aid company’s strategic planning. Manage analytics projects end-to-end, including gathering and documenting requirements from marketing business partners, designing data models, and creating reports/visualizations and analyses. Identify trends, patterns, and outliers by analyzing complex data sets to uncover valuable insights that enhance business performance. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting, and identify opportunities for report enhancements to improve overall data analysis capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, and operations to align sales-marketing strategies with overall business goals. Present reports and analyses with complex technical details to the business and marketing leadership. Act as subject matter resource in marketing reporting and analytics (pipeline/funnel and campaign analyses, etc.) as well as business systems (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.). Wage range: $97-160K/year.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative or analytical concentration, such as statistics, mathematics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, business intelligence, data science, marketing, or related. 3 years of experience in a business analyst, business intelligence analyst, data analyst, marketing or related role that includes the following: Generating reports and analyses to support marketing business unit or department; Use of data visualization/reporting software (such as QlikSense, Tableau, Excel, etc.) to develop reports for business; Advanced use of SQL or Excel to pull data from databases and manipulate/transform it in accordance with data/analytical needs; Use of marketing business systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc.; Management of analytical projects and stakeholder expectations; Communicating and delivering presentations based on reports/analyses to audiences such as business leaders and decision-makers.
