Senior FullStack Software Engineer AI

We’re looking for talented, friendly and adaptable Fullstack Software Engineers to help fasttrack the integration of AI within our products, both for internal and external use.

In this role, you’ll join Treatwell’s new AI Engineering team, where you’ll design and build AIpowered, fullstack solutions—everything from internal automation to customerfacing features. Your core mission will be to integrate intelligence into our ecosystem (linking platforms like Salesforce, Hubspot, Confluence and our own products) to streamline internal workflows and elevate the experience for every Treatwell customer.

We are seeking a software engineer who is comfortable with working in a crossfunctional Agile team, with proven experience in designingbuilding frontend and backend applications, continuously delivering clean, maintainable and well tested code. We want to do great work and to be known for it.

As a fullstack engineer you will help the team to ensure they continuously deliver high quality code, so that they can meet and exceed their goals. You will collaborate with the other members of the team, contributing to build robust integrations with third party services.
You will help the team to define and roll out an AI adoption strategy. You will play a crucial role in exploring, evaluating and integrating LLM and AI servicesmethodologies, adopting and orchestrating them in the team’s products.

Youll be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and applications in Node.js (TypeScript).
  As a team, though, we are not tightly coupled to a specific programming languageecosystem, especially in the backend. Therefore adaptability would be highly appreciated.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders: product managers, designers, and other engineers in an Agile Environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and welltested code following good Engineering Practises.
• Integrate and maintain robust connections with thirdparty APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• You know good UX, visual and good technical design when you see it and how to ensure quality is embedded in the software development process.

• About you:

  • Experience with LangChain, LLM orchestration, or building AIpowered features.
  • Experience with AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, AWS Bedrock, vector databases).
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Strong experience in backend development with Node.js or a similar JavaScript runtime.
  • Experience with other languagesframeworks on the Backend (e.g. Python JavaSpringBoot) and on the Frontend (we mainly use React)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth, and integrating thirdparty APIs.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like, especially AWS).

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience with TDDBDD and writing test suites (e.g., using Jest, Cypress).
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
    • CICD pipeline experience (we use Gitlab CICD).
