We’re are seeking to recruit a Global Product Owner Workday Recruiting (f/m/d) to join our engaged Workday team in the Group Human Resources department. The position is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and reports to the position Manager Workday. 

 

In this position you will play a key role in driving the evolution of our global recruiting processes. This parental leave cover (limited for 18 months) offers a unique chance to lead strategic initiatives, collaborate across borders, and leave a lasting impact on our HR digital transformation. 

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE 

 

System Ownership & Optimization 

  • Own and continuously improve the global configuration of the Workday Recruiting module

  • Ensure system documentation is up-to-date and accessible 

  • Support local country teams with administrative tasks, troubleshooting, and issue resolution 

 

Strategic Roadmap & Innovation 

  • Deliver on the 2025/2026 roadmap and help shape future enhancements in alignment with HR strategy 

  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously upskilling in Workday – exploring new features, participating in trainings, engaging with the Workday Community, and benchmarking with other Workday customers

 

Reporting & Access Management 

  • Work closely with reporting experts to analyze needs and define the best approach for implementation 

  • Develop a strong understanding of Workday’s user rights framework and apply it effectively to recruiting processes and reporting 

 

Global Collaboration & Enablement 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to key users in countries already live with Workday Recruiting, while also ensuring smooth onboarding and adoption for new countries opting into the module 

  • Champion user adoption by translating business needs into intuitive system solutions 

 

  

YOUR PROFILE 

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field 

  • Familiarity with HR systems – ideally Workday – or experience with digital recruiting tools 

  • Initial experience in HR, IT, or consulting is a plus 

  • Exposure to agile project management tools like JIRA is beneficial 

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality 

  • Excellent English skills (team language); German or other languages are a plus
