Requirements and Nature of Work:

Research Assistant Opportunity – 2SLGBTQI+ Entrepreneurship Study

We are seeking a motivated and diligent graduate student (Master’s or PhD) or recent graduate with interest and/or experience in 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurship to join a research project as a Research Assistant.

This paid, remote position will begin on October 1, 2025, with an initial 3-month contract (extendable to 9 months). The expected workload is 5–10 hours per week (negotiable).

The project explores the experiences of 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them. 

Ideal candidates will have:

  •  Strong research skills, including experience with qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups, transcription)
  • Familiarity with 2SLGBTQI+ issues and communities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
