Account Executive

Location: Remote
On Target Earnings: $121,275 Base Salary $78,829.00

At Pax8, we’re on a mission to simplify the cloud buying journey for our partners—and we’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to help us do just that.
As a Pax8 AE, you’ll be the trusted advisor to our A2-segmented partners, helping them navigate cloud solutions and drive revenue through Pax8 services. You’ll own the sales cycle, build meaningful relationships, and become an expert in your partners’ business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth: Own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, using Pax8’s proven methodology and managing a six-month funnel.
  • Partner Strategically: Build recurring meeting cadences and strong relationships with partner sales teams to uncover new opportunities.
  • Solve with Purpose: Understand partner pain points and deliver cloud technology solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, POD teams, SMEs, and other departments to drive revenue and support partner success.
  • Stay Engaged: Participate in team meetings, contribute to territory development, and continuously learn and grow.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years in channel sales (VAR, Distributor, MSP, or Vendor experience required).
  • Education: B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Sales Excellence: Proven ability to manage opportunities from discovery to close and consistently hit revenue targets.
  • Tech Fluency: Solid understanding of business technology across categories like Productivity, Infrastructure, Continuity, Operations, Network & Connectivity, and Security.
  • Methodology Savvy: Familiarity with Force Management is a plus. Any formal sales methodology experience is a positive
  • In-Person Readiness: Willingness to meet select partners quarterly to sharpen in-person sales skills.
