We are currently seeking a Business Analyst, Level 2 to join our team 100% remote based anywhere in Canada.

Job Info:
Looking for a BA resource with experience in analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements for custom web application development using the Agile methodology. The resource must perform, without being limited to, the following tasks to support the Cloud Modernization of Internal Applications project and related systems. These tasks must adhere to provided design requirements and targetstate architecture and completed using Microsoft Azure DevOps Agile Template where applicable.
  • Evaluate existing design requirements to document and compose user stories and acceptance criteria in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Assist in developing project timelines and sprint planning.
  • Participate in developing sprint reports on the statusprogress of the deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct and document sprint validation sessions with stakeholders.
  • Document and track using Microsoft DevOps for change requests, defects, tasks and ensure they’re addressed.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure scope is adhered to.
  • Create test plans in Microsoft DevOps for internal Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Performing thorough testing and validating against user stories.
  • Report on technical issues or questions and make recommendations to project team.
  • Create user training documentation.
  • Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing sessions with endusers.
  • Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
  • Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems
  • Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems

    • Basic Qualifications:
      • Must currently hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.
      • Must be fluent in English – bilingual candidates are considered an asset.
      • Must have 510 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
      • Must have 2+ years of experience working with custom cloud web applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
      • Must have 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps (Agile template).
      • Must have 2+ years of experience with DevOps Agile template to manage sprints, documenting features and user stories, managing product backlog, bug and change request logging, and creating and executing test plans.
      • Experience with BPWin, Oracle CASE, Rational Rose or RUP.
      • Must have a university degree or collegeCEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized postsecondary institution. If applicable, a copy of Canadian equivalency must be provided as well. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided if requested.
