Job: Global Transportation Manager
Location: 100% remote from the US
Duration: 3 year contract position

The Transportation Specialist (Global Transportation Manager) is responsible for acting as the Global Transportation Manager for a specified region (EMEA or Americas). This role involves leading supplier relationships for appointed Transportation Service Providers, ensuring on-track performance for suppliers in scope. The specialist will develop, implement, maintain, and monitor best-in-class, cost-effective, and GDP-compliant transportation strategies and solutions, either individually or through Global Distribution Hubs. Continuous improvement principles are applied while designing, implementing, and sustaining distribution solutions as part of Global Transportation Excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years experience in the logistics Supply chain or transportation
Solid experience in project management across departments and geographies
Experience managing suppliers/vendors and improving processes
Experience in pharma or biotech is a plus, candidates from consumer goods or other logistics-heavy industries are also okay
Proficient in Excel for data analysis and trend identification
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus, and familiarity with SAP TMS is helpful but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers.
