Job description

The Implementation Program/Project Manager – Healthcare supports the implementation, execution, and performance of one or more client-driven initiatives, ensuring project deliverables, schedules, and contract performance align with project objectives. The Implementation Program/Project Manager – Healthcare also provides reporting and insights to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirements. This role solves complex challenges and drives innovative solutions to achieve desired results.

  • This position is contingent upon contract award.
  • 100% Remote
  • Open to Direct Hire or Contract (1099)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and contribute to the execution and implementation of government contracts for healthcare clients, in the timely delivery of client deliverables and presentations; from project kick off until close.
  • Leverage considerable understanding of Healthcare departments and operations to thoroughly account for project plans relevant to project scope, risks, and resources to successfully activate project.
  • Participate in program planning, implementation, and execution, ensuring high quality deliverables.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables while tracking data trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights to leadership or clients.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to monitor performance, compliance, and key metrics.
  • Maintain dashboards, reports, and/or data tracking to support projects.
  • As requested, define project scope and objectives, developing work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conduct project meetings, track progress, and analyze project performance.
  • Analyze contract performance and financial metrics, recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure program activities align with contract requirements, company policies, and/or regulatory guidelines.
  • Direct and supervise support resources for project assignments and activities as requested.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact project success.
  • Maintain project timelines, track document submissions, and manage audit files.
  • Adapt to client-driven requests within the project, providing support for schedules, reporting, data analysis, and other evolving needs as they arise.
  • Implement procedures to ensure program compliance, fulfill project objectives, and meet client expectations; collaborate with clients to address concerns and provide updates.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field with 12–15 years minimum experience; or a Master’s degree with 10–13 years minimum experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a government or healthcare setting
  • Proven ability to develop project plans, track deliverables, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and reporting dashboards
  • Experience ensuring contract compliance and navigating regulatory or government reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including leading meetings and delivering updates to clients or executives
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for continuous project improvement
  • Experience overseeing teams, coordinating cross-functional resources, and adapting to evolving project needs

Salary Range Disclosure:
The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location.
