Job description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who can take the reins of our AWSbased environment for our electronic health record (EHR) platform, and refine, optimize, and evolve it.

This is a hightrust, highautonomy role. You’ll be given the keys to our infrastructure and the mandate to own it endtoend—maintaining compliance, improving performance, enhancing security, and ensuring scalability as we grow.

You’ll bring the technical leadership and creativity to identify gaps, streamline processes, and introduce best practices. If you thrive in startup settings, enjoy solving problems before they happen, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Take full ownership of the AWS environment—ensuring ongoing HIPAA compliance, operational stability, and performance.
  • Assess existing infrastructure, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes for scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
  • Build and maintain CICD pipelines, automation scripts, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to align infrastructure with product needs and release cycles.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all infrastructurerelated initiatives, proactively driving innovation and reliability.

      • Strong handson experience managing and optimizing AWS environments (EC2, ECSEKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
      • Proficiency in CICD pipelines, infrastructureascode
      • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
      • Proven track record of taking ownership in unstructured environments and delivering measurable improvements.
      • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead technical decisions.

          • Experience in healthcare technology or working with EHREMR systems.
          • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data
