Sr. QA

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. QA for a 12 month contract to hire role with our client in Minnetonka, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior QA professional to serve as the sole QA resource on a dynamic AI integrations project. Although the role is titled Lead,” there are no direct reports; instead, you will take ownership of the QA process, including test plan creation, test case development, and automated test execution.

Project Overview:
The project focuses on AI integrations, including autogenerating summaries of realworld events and developing chatbots. This initiative offers complex, engaging work that will keep the QA team fully occupied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans from project requirements.
• Design, build, and execute automated test cases (primarily NodeJSbased).
• Troubleshoot and analyze test failures, providing clear feedback to developers for resolution.
• Take initiative in driving QA efforts, ensuring thorough coverage and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the team on testing tasks, guiding the QA direction as needed.
• Technology Stack:
• Java, Spring Boot
• PostgreSQL (required)
• AWS
• NodeJS (preferred; Selenium with Java experience considered if willing to learn NodeJS)

  Qualifications:
  • Proven experience writing test plans for large, complex applications independently.
  • Strong initiative and ability to take ownership of QA activities.
  • Extensive experience with automated testing frameworks, primarily NodeJSbased.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate technical details clearly to developers.

    Compensation:
    Hourly W2 pay: $55.00 to $60.00hour
    
    We have access to additional contract, contracttohire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
