Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Quality Operations will help develop and implement processes and procedures meant to improve quality programs (HEDIS/Stars/ACO/MSSP/etc.) throughout the organization. This position will be responsible for directing and overseeing key daily activities within the quality functions of the team and identifying new approaches that evolve agilon’s long-term quality strategic plans. This position will assist with ensuring proper implementation and execution of agilon’s Total Quality Management (TQM) program. More importantly, this is an opportunity that affords significant exposure and impact on senior level clinical strategies for a high-growth business.

Essential Job Functions:

Quality Strategy and Execution

· Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management to ensure completion of key company objectives

· Administers an organizational quality management system and monitors progress against strategic quality-related goals

· Collaborates with other members of the executive management team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization

· Owns the creation and management of the enterprise Quality Workbook

· Works with Regional Quality teams on market level strategies and initiatives

· Supports deliverables required for Board, JOC, CQC and other enterprise presentations/prep

· Partners with Payor Strategies on health plan data needs

· Develops process to provides updates to Regional Quality Directors on contract / renewal changes and new market requirements

· Supports the development of enterprise policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization

· Oversees the development and delivery of agilon’s quality-related enterprise policies and training programs to assess their effectiveness, and to educate and communicate

quality programs and initiatives to key stakeholders, recommending improvements when necessary

· Identifies key clinical quality metrics and goals for the organization to meet the needs of the markets, health plans and agilon’s physician partners

· Responsible for monitoring and managing vendors or suppliers for compliance with established or contracted quality standards (excl. patient experience)

Data Reporting, Process Improvement and Efficiencies

· Implements strategies for ensuring that organizational processes meet established quality guidelines and expectations

· Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes

· Investigates quality opportunities, recommends changes to internal procedures to prevent future issues, and assesses and reports on the impact of process changes

· Oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting to support the Quality strategy and create initiatives as appropriate; partners with market leadership teams to develop implementation of corrective action for underperforming areas or functions

· Solicits internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes

· Responsible for internal and external audits, including completing Roadmaps, taking corrective action when necessary

· Collaborates with individual department heads to define performance indicators and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement

· Stays abreast of changing regulations or best practices and modifies internal programs and policies in response

· Other job functions as required

Other Job Functions:

· Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to employees and team members

· Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary action

· Administers established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural changes

· Travel as required

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Experience and Skills:

· Minimum of at least 8 years of applicable experience, including some prior management experience.

· Ability to build collaborative relationships across the enterprise to achieve company results

· A problem solver and decision maker who strives for continuous improvement

· People management skills to assess and develop team

· Proven ability to pay attention to details and manage priorities to meet deadlines

Location:
Remote - KY

Pay Range:
$115,100.00 - $140,900.00

Salary range shown is a guideline. Individual compensation packages can vary based on factors unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
