Job description


DevSecOps Developer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: REMOTE

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project planning to determine programming and hardware needs.
  • Design, code, test, and debug programs using languages in the Infrastructure Tool Kit (ITK).
  • Ensure consistent use of development standards and follow data security procedures.
  • Maintain contact with team leaders, customers, and vendors to monitor progress.
  • Revise and update computer programs and systems documentation as necessary.
  • Perform other jobrelated tasks to support outlined duties.
    • Required Experience Level:
      • 35 years of experience in technology or software development.
        • Required Skills:
          • DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab).
          • Designing and developing eventmessagebased application services using a message queue (e.g., Apache Kafka).
          • Using automated unit testing and user interface testing tools, ideally in a testdrivendevelopment approach.
          • Use of source code management tools in a CICD SecDevOps environment.
          • API centric, microservices, serverless applications, or similar cloudfriendly application designs.
          • Cloud Development with Dataflow, PubSub, or Redis.
          • Microservices design, Kubernetes, Security, Performance tuning, High Observability Principle, Multithreading, Java.
            • Preferred Skills:
              • Working knowledge (2 years experience) of Agile Methodologies.
              • Knowledgeexperience of SDLC practices.
              • Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc).
              • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
                • Educational Requirements:
                  • A degree from an accredited CollegeUniversity in the applicable field of services is preferred.
                  • If no relevant degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
