Subject Matter Expert (SME Testing)

Duration: 12 Months | Location: REMOTE

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Execute tests and provide testing support throughout all SDLC phases.
• Create and execute test scenarios, work with the development team for defect resolution, and demonstrate user stories to clients.
• Verify test conditions using backend systems, run SQL queries, and check service responses using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Assist with Agile Ceremonies and release management as a Scrum Master backup.
• Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures and documentation.
• Work with Business on data updates via UI and verification.
• Ensure quality, meet specified expectations, reduce errors, and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Required Experience Level:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technology or software development preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of manual and automated testing experience.

  • Required Skills:

    • Create documentation and communicate clear test plans, scenarios, and cases.
    • Proficient in manual testing and incorporating automated testing processes.
    • Experience with Test Automation scripts and framework (UFT).
    • Create detailed defect reports.
    • Utilize DevOps and Agile methods for collaboration and flexibility.
    • Experience with Version One or other work management tools.
    • Demonstrate user stories and functionality to customers.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC and operating systems.
    • Knowledge of Web services and verification tools such as Postman, SoapUI.
    • Comprehend Database and write SQL queries.
    • Researchtroubleshoot ad hoc questions and support issues.
    • Motivated selfstarter with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication skills for collaboration with key stakeholders.

      • Educational Requirements:
