Job description

About Us
Location: Onsite Opportunity in Munich, Germany

We’re Chimera Entertainment and we’ve been crafting memorable gaming experiences since 2006. From Angry Birds Epic to our latest passion project, Songs of Silence, our team thrives on creativity, teamwork, and the drive to build outstanding games. As an independent and award-winning studio, we’ve worked on both our own IPs and major industry collaborations, always pushing boundaries.

Are you a passionate gamer who knows gaming communities and social media in Germany, Ukraine, the USA, France, or Spain inside out? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry while engaging with players and helping shape our community for Songs of Silence? If so, join us as a Working Student or Freelancer (f/m/d)!

We’re looking for someone who’s already part of the scene—not just someone who scrolls past game news but someone who lives and breathes strategy games, follows content creators, and actively engages on social media. Whether you’re tied to one scene or connected across borders:
If you know the community, the lingo, and what gets players hyped, this is your chance to turn that passion into something more.

The kind of stuff you’ll be doing
  • Jump into the conversation – engage with players on Discord, Reddit, and wherever else the community is buzzing.
  • Mirror & adapt content – help us bring our messages to the right platforms, in a way that actually makes sense for the audience.
  • Keep an eye on the vibe – track what players love, what they’re talking about, and what trends are shaping the strategy gaming space.
  • Help us level up – research new ways to connect with players and get more eyes on Songs of Silence.
  • Understand the creator scene – follow local gaming influencers and tell us who’s making an impact.

Requirements:
  • Fluent English is essential, plus native-level proficiency in German, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, or French.
  • Currently enrolled in university (valid for at least the next 6 months) if applying as a working student.
  • Strategy game passion is non-negotiable – if you don’t play them, this isn’t for you.
  • Already active on gaming platforms relevant to your region (e.g. Discord, Reddit, Twitter/X, and local platforms).
  • You watch and follow gaming content creators – and understand how they shape player communities.
  • You’re hands-on, proactive, and just get how gaming culture works.
  • Bonus: You’ve been on the other side – as a creator, influencer, or someone already making content for the gaming scene.
Perks
  • Up to 15 hours per week, flexible schedule.
  • Real industry experience – this isn’t just a side gig; you’ll actually contribute.
  • Work with experienced devs – no pointless tasks, just hands-on insights.
  • If you’re on-site in Munich: snacks, drinks, and access to our game library.
  • If you’re remote: the flexibility to work from wherever you are.
  • Become part of Europe’s largest developer family, with 300+ developers across the globe.
  • Join a casual, international, and creative team.
