This position is funded by State Compensatory Education funds. The primary purpose is to maintain data for students in at-risk programs for the purpose of tracking growth as compared to closing academic gaps between students who are at-risk and the general population.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • Design and produce weekly reports for state compensatory education program
  • Analyze data for program effectiveness and collaborate to present data regarding program effectiveness
  • Track growth measures on BOY, MOY, EOY, and Interims as needed
  • Compile student academic information for intervention program
  • Maintain database of students active in the RTI program

THIS POSITION MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SCE PROGRAM. DUTIES THIS POSITION MAY NOT PERFORM:

  • Duties related to testing, such as test administration
  • Perform legislatively mandated duties or activities that are specifically allocated to a regular education position in the Texas Education Code
  • Activities or duties that would supplement anything other than the regular education program, such as parent/family liaison

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience with data analysis

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with Access or similar database program
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in developing reports and/or dashboards
  • Texas Residency
  • Ability to pass background check
