Job description

Content & Communications Specialist:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Content & Communications Specialist to help with the execution of our agency's marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a versatile "doer" who is excited to wear multiple hats, from designing marketing collateral and writing compelling copy to managing our content pipeline and supporting new business initiatives.

This role is perfect for a tech-savvy, proactive individual who is an exceptional communicator and a quick learner. Beyond just executing tasks, we are looking for a creative partner who will bring life and new ideas to our marketing efforts. You will be encouraged to support  our strategy, experiment with new tactics, and play a critical role in shaping our brand presence and driving our growth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (Design & Copy):

  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including social media graphics, case studies, one-pagers, and presentation decks using tools like Figma and/or Canva.
  • Write clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for our website, landing pages, case studies, email marketing campaigns, and other digital assets.

Project & Content Management:

  • Own and manage our content and communications calendar, ensuring a steady stream of high-quality content.
  • Lead the process of collecting information, assets, and written contributions from various team members, ensuring deadlines are met.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage our agency's social media presence across key channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X), including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement.

Paid Media & New Business Support:

  • Support the agency's paid media campaigns and other active marketing and advertising efforts. You will liaise with our paid media team to provide creative assets and ensure campaigns align with broader marketing objectives.
  • Support the new business team by preparing compelling proposals, graphics, and other sales enablement materials to help us win new clients.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a communications role at a digital agency or a similarly fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of writing samples (e.g., blog posts, web copy, email campaigns).
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with proficiency in a design tool like Figma, Canva, or the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to learn new software and platforms quickly. You should be very comfortable leveraging AI to complete tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite), including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different personalities and teams.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with marketing automation or email platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • A foundational understanding of SEO, SEM, and paid social concepts.
  • Experience with project management software like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
What we offer:
  • Healthy work/life balance
  • A creative environment to do the best work of your career
  • An amazing team of developers, designers, marketers, and project managers.
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Paid vacation and sick time off
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Retirement plan with company matching
