Staff Accountant

Our client is a fastgrowing fintech company providing cloudbased accounting, payroll, tax, and advisory services to small businesses.

They are seeking an experienced accountant with strong clientfacing skills to manage onboarding projects, clean up and set up accounting systems, and work with multiple clients across industries.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare accurate, accrualbasis financial statements.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for bank, credit card, merchant service, and loan accounts.
• Clean up and set up client accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage multiple onboarding projects at once, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Use cloudbased accounting platforms and integrated tools to streamline processes (QuickBooks Online, Xero, A2X, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
• Identify and communicate scope changes early to onboarding managers.

• Requirements

  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a small or midsized CPA firm).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAPbased accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with multiple clients from different industries.
  • C1 English fluency or equivalent.
  • Experience in a clientfacing role and client onboarding processes.
  • QuickBooks Online certification is a plus but nor mandatory.
  • Ecommerce accounting experience.

      Salary: $3000 $4000 USD month
      PTO: 120 hours in the first year + 5 sick days; unlimited PTO after year one

      This is a full time contractor agreement
