Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our logistics department.

YOUR SKILLS:

The successful candidate will assist in inventory control, shipping and receiving, data entry, and coordination with vendors and transportation providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.

  • A first successful experience in a logistics, shipping, or warehouse support role is highly recommended.
  • Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong level in Excel.
  • Understand inbound and outbound processes at a high level.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Great eye for detail and structured mind.
  • Comfortable and autonomous in managing and prioritizing your workload.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Maintain inventory records and prepare related documentation daily.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory of goods.
  • Assist in managing customer orders and ensuring timely shipping.
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations.
  • Support in planning and tracking shipments domestically and internationally.
  • Support in managing customs processes (import & exports with the US, Europe and Switzerland).
  • Ensure accurate receiving of goods.
  • Process and file inventory and shipping documents.
  • Update logistics databases and systems with order details.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels.
  • Track logistics tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Assess priorities and maintain an orderly and timely workflow.
  • Assist in running regular physical inventory audits (you’ll be counting the products yourself which implies moving some around).
  • Bring in ideas to improve the operations, your voice counts!

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

  • Based in Germany around Frankfurt is a plus.
  • High level of judgement, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Physical ability to work in a fulfillment center and move products around.
  • Start-up spirit.
