We are hiring a Senior SharePoint Developer with a proven track record of working within the federal sector. We are seeking a motivated Junior SharePoint Developer to lead the migration of a federal customer’s SharePoint 2019 environment to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). The developer will ensure a compliant, efficient, and secure transition that meets federal IT standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document migration plans.
  • Assist in analyzing existing SharePoint 2019 architecture, including subsites, custom forms, and workflows.
  • Support the redesign and reimplementation of unsupported features (e.g., hierarchical subsites, InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer workflows) using modern SharePoint Online tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and site collections.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of migrated content and functionality.
  • Maintain documentation for compliance, configuration, and user training.
  • Ensure adherence to federal security and accessibility standards.
  • Other tasks as assigned in support of operational needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-relevant field
  • Preferred Certifications: Any current SharePoint or Power Platform Certification
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of similar work experience within the public sector
  • Demonstrate understanding and leading of migration from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online 365.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online/365 and Framework (SPFx), and knowledge of SharePoint Application models.
  • An understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and content types.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or SPFx.
  • Experience taking requirements, generating designs, and implementing a final solution.
  • Experience developing SharePoint web parts, site templates, and content types.
  • Experience developing SharePoint sites/pages.
  • Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service, and other Service Applications.
  • Excellent client-facing experience and communications skills.
  • Excellent testing and test management skills.
  • Practical SharePoint Online and Power Platform product experience - configuring, administration, development and deploying solutions.
  • Ability to work intuitively, along with or as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, plan and multitask work.
  • Ability to propose a strategy for ensuring data integrity, security, regulatory compliance and timely issues resolution
  • Solid communication skills and ability to interpret client requirements.

Work Location: Remote work is authorized; however, on-site work may be required at customer facilities in Washington, D.C.
