ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Contract Lead Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This contract position offers flexibility in duration based on project needs. You will combine handson seniorlevel development with a leadership responsibility, where approximately 20% of your time will be dedicated to guiding architecture and technical direction, and 80% to active full stack development.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable application design and code quality, while supporting the growth and alignment of our development team. A significant part of this role will be leading the team thru migrations of legacy code as we move clients to this platform. There are many opportunities for greenfield feature development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Architecture (20%)

  • Lead architectural planning and decisionmaking across services and applications.
  • Define technical standards, patterns, and frameworks for use across the stack.
  • Mentor and support developers through design reviews, technical planning, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
    • Handson Development (80%)

      • Design, develop, and deploy modules and services across the technology stack.
      • Translate product roadmap items into scalable, testable code.
      • Contribute to and optimize CICD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
      • Build and maintain secure, resilient AWSbased infrastructure.
      • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within a hybrid Agile framework.
      • Collaborate with internal teams and developers to ensure integration quality and maintainable code.
      • Implement security and compliance best practices into the codebase and infrastructure.
      • Perform thorough code reviews to enforce standards and best practices.
      • Provide oncall support as needed for production systems.
        • Requirements:

          • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
          • 3+ years of team leadership experience
          • 5+ years of handson full stack software development experience, with a strong emphasis on:
            Backend: C#, .NET Core, RabbitMQ, Python
            Frontend: ReactJS
            Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
            Databases: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB Atlas, PostgreSQL
          • Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architecture.
          • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CICD pipeline design.
          • Strong understanding of Agile software delivery practices.
          • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
          • Clear and collaborative communicator, comfortable working crossfunctionally.
          • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
            • Nice to Have:

              • Integration experience with HubSpot CRM & Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP.
              • Familiarity with AWS Glue, SNS, SES, and CloudWatch.
              • Knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
              • Prior experience in team leadership or mentoring roles.
