Job description

The ERP Manager is responsible for the strategic administration, continuous improvement, and daytoday management of Milhouse’s ERP system—Deltek Vantagepoint. This role plays a critical part in enabling the company’s operational success by ensuring the ERP platform supports project lifecycle management, financial operations, resource planning, and enterprisewide reporting.
As a key liaison between IT and all business units, the ERP Manager translates operational needs into system functionality, manages ERP enhancements, and ensures high user adoption through training and support. The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, enforce data governance best practices, and align ERP capabilities with evolving business goals.

What you will do:
  • Lead the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing development of Deltek Vantagepoint, including module enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Conduct testing of systems and perform systems upgrades.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to configure and customize ERP software to meet business needs.
  • Optimize business processes and reporting by fully harnessing the functionality of ERP system.
  • Evaluate new or underused functionality, identify inefficiencies to streamline operations and eliminate redundancies
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure the system’s data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related issues, providing technical support to users
  • Collaborate with IT leaders to align ERP data architecture with enterprise data governance standards, ensuring ERP data remains structured, accessible, and analyticsready to support AI and BI initiatives and informed decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with Finance leaders on projects pertaining to Deltek applications and functions, including system upgrades, yearend processing support and implementation of customizations.
  • Plan, coordinate and lead any systemprocess redesign, ERP migration and integration by partnering with IT leads on APIfirst strategies, ensuring seamless connectivity between core ERP, thirdparty platforms, and subsidiary ERP systems to enable automation and enterprisewide workflow efficiency.
  • Champion UXdriven process improvements by collaborating with crossfunctional teams (internal and external) to streamline ERP interfaces, reduce user friction, and enhance selfservice capabilities through intuitive dashboards, mobile access, and lowcode customization tools.
  • Research ERP solutions and stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Develop resources for user training to cater to diverse skill levels of users
  • Develop and lead a team of ERP specialists
  • Responsible for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
  • Assist on various special projects as assigned.

  • Who you are:
  • Strong business process expertise
  • Proficiency in OnBase or similar electronic filing software is required.
  • Deep understanding of engineering firm workflows, including project setup, resource planning, WBS, budgeting, and timeexpense tracking.
  • Proven ability to lead ERP upgrades, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing custom dashboards and reports using Vantagepoint tools (e.g., Dashboards, Report Builder, Workflow Designer).
  • Substantial ERP system design and management experience
  • Indepth knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlook ups, pivot tables).
  • Exposure to Power Bi and AI.
  • Excellent problemsolving, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to train users and translate technical processes into businessfriendly guidance.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Your background:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or a related discipline isrequired.
  • At least 5 years of experience administering or managing ERP systems.
  • 10 plus years of accounting experience preferred.
  • History of escalating responsibilities in IT with both project and accounting systems management.
