The Role

Veeva Systems is looking for a driven, selfmotivated leader looking to get exposure to a critical growth industry in Life Sciences with a passion for empowering a team of strong professionals working closely with pharma and biotech companies with bestofbreed cloudbased technology.
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Lead Consultant practice in Europe and supporting the Enterprise Application Management Programs for R&D, aiming to build sustainable and scalable enterprise application management services for our largest and most complex development cloud customers.
Veeva’s Development Cloud helps organizations eliminate silos and transform business processes across clinical operations, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and quality management with greater efficiency and compliance.
This is a remote, fulltime role with Veeva, with occasional travel to a Veeva office or Veeva function. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Europe. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

What Youll Do
  • Leading a customerfacing team, including resource planning, oversight, and development of the professional growth of direct reports
  • Ensuring that our offerings are sustainable and serve the best interests of our customers
  • Working closely with the R&D Services Practice Leads and Account Partners to ensure we have the right talent driving and delivering our programs
  • Providing program oversight and monitoring, including executive relationship management
  • Planning and oversight of new offerings and customer pipeline for Europe
  • Ensuring service delivery in alignment with program standards
  • Contributing to internal initiatives and operations of the EAM business to improve our ways of working globally

  • Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Support, Consulting, or Product Management
  • 5+ years of experience in an Operational or Support Leadership role and the ability to build and run a team
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing crossfunctional teams andor managers
  • Proven track record leading implementation andor IT operations as a consultant, business analyst, or IT lead andor business sponsor, technical affinity, andor handson experience with software implementation
  • Ability to handle customer escalations, finding an agreement, and reaching Customer Success
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in teams in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • University degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Good understanding of SaaS and GxP principles
  • Experience in Transition Management andor Program Governance
  • Experience in Pharma Quality (QCQA), Clinical, Regulatory, andor Safety (Pharmacovigilance) spaces
  • Experience with Data or Content Management applications
  • Direct experience with systems such as Veeva Vault, Documentum, D2, OpenText, SharePoint, FirstDoc, FirstPoint, NextDocs, CARA, MasterControl, TrackWise QMS, BioClinica, IMPACT, Siebel CTMS, Wingspan eTMF, InForm EDC, RAVE, docuBridge, Global Register, goBalto, or other QMS, CTMS, RIM, RegIntel, EDC, LMS, eTMF, Study Startup (SSU,) or Safety applications
  • Fluency in more than one European language
